Taking the Team A Hotwife Novel edition by Lexi Archer Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Wow! This is a really good read with lots of steamy s e x scenes that will leave you wishing you were the h in the story! This was very well written and a quick read without feeling rushed or hastily written. If you want a smokin hot read and lots of young hot guys with a little bit of girl on girl action then you should read this!!!!
Lexi hits a home run with this one or maybe in this case , a 3 point field goal . The wife Megan warns her husband , forcing her to
be with another man , could open deeper feelings for her !!! Once started , Megan pushes the envelope further . WOW , does she go
further and how !!!
I enjoyed this book from start to finish. The first half builds the story and developers the characters so that the last part of the book sizzles hot. Reluctant wife with suppressed desires is the premise and of course the husband that wants to see his beautiful hot wife lose herself in passion and pleasure. And that's what you get in this novel....I just wish (again) that I could jump into the scenes and be a part of it all. Thanks again Lexi, you keep writing and I'll keep reading!
My personal opinion, is that this novel was not one of Lexi's best. If you like the Characters to be thoughtful and spend most of the book in their minds thinking about their situation and how it will affect their lives then this is the book you want to read. The sex scenes were not really developed well and left something to be desired. I do like character development but I also like the hot scenes the Lexi is known to write. I was provided an advance reader copy for an unbiased review.
Lexi Archer is a very competent writer of hotwife erotica. The characters are well developed and I liked getting into their emotional conflicts. I also like that, for the most part, the chapters alternate between points of view, although it might have been better if she labeled them. The plot was pretty basic, husband wants to watch wife sleep with other men and wife is reluctant but ultimately comes around to fulfilling his fantasy. The sex scenes are hot and don't disappoint, and there are a few - I can't call them twists - details that spice up the narrative at the end. I recommend this book to all Lexi Archer fans and other readers who enjoy basic hotwife stories with basic plots.
I read an advanced copy of this story in exchange for my honest opinion.
Well this book has on the plus side a good premise, reasonably well developed characters and narrative, well edited and even well written within the limitations of this authors formula. So what's wrong with it ?
I'm going to agree with Wayne here but tell it like it is .....so lets face facts.
This is erotica or is supposed to be right? And this author simply cannot manage to write long detailed hot sex scenes! It's not that she doesn't try or have the opportunity she's just can't do it. No matter which way you look at it her sex scenes are far tamer, much less detailed and most noticeably shorter then most all other authors in the genre. If you look at any of her titles and compare them to other female authors in the genre (take Arnica Butler or Kirsten Mccurren for example) well there is no other way to say it other then Lexi Archer simply does not compare favorably in that area. And that's a shame because it's been going on for a while now without much changing and generally the Lexi Archer "formula" of one long build up to a big sex scene is a really good formula to work with in this genre. But for it to work it requires a really big and hot ending and I'm afraid Lexi Archer doesn't seem to know how to write that anymore.
Dont waste your money!!
